Art Buddies started with one kid, a pool, and a sketchbook. Bader AlShaitan grew up splitting his time between swim training and drawing — two worlds that rarely crossed paths. So he decided to build the bridge himself.

What began as hand-drawn doodles on swim caps and gear turned into something real when his siblings jumped in. Together, they started designing pieces that felt like them: bold, playful, and built for hours in the water.

Today, Art Buddies is run by a crew of Kuwaiti kids who live in the pool and think in color. Every jammer, every kneesuit, every piece of gear is sketched by us, tested by us, and worn by us. Because the best swimwear comes from the ones who actually swim.

We are not a big corporation. We are a family of swimmers who believe that sport and art belong together — and that the next generation of athletes deserves gear with personality.
